One of the advantages of building your boat is to progress at your own pace. Builders of large boats can purchase all the supplies at once or spread the expense and storage over the duration of the building.
There is little financial advantage in buying all the epoxy and fiberglass at the same time: to secure the best quantity discount, one should buy the resin in multiples of 6 gallons and fiberglass by the roll but the unit price does not change anymore once you reach that level.

Our starter kit includes what is needed to assemble a large hull: more than enough epoxy and fiberglass tape for all the gluing, for all the outside seams and a complete saturation of all hull surfaces.
Later, the builder can buy more fiberglass and epoxy at our online store: boatbuildercentral.com. The prices are the same as in the kits.

Slow, medium and fast hardeners are available. Unless you request otherwise, we will supply a medium speed hardener.

About plywood and other supplies:
After many years working with amateur boat builders, we realize that many set the wrong priorities when it comes to materials and worry a great deal about the type of plywood but buy the first available resins and fiberglass. In our building method, you can build a good boat with inexpensive plywood but not with poor quality fiberglass and resin.
Our MarinEpoxy Resin is a high performance marine resin specially formulated for our building method. It has a low viscosity and is ideal for fiberglass lamination. It wets the fiberglass evenly and fast.
